The Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) has officially issued a notice regarding the appointment of Center Superintendents (CS) and Permanent Observers for the Even Semester / Annual Examination and Special Back Paper Examination May 2026. The notice, bearing reference number TEUP-SEC4OCNTR/1/2026-SEC4-BTEUP, was issued on April 28, 2026, and signed by Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Secretary, BTEUP, Lucknow.

Exam Duration and Centers
According to the official notice, the Even Semester / Annual examinations will be conducted from May 4, 2026 to June 6, 2026 at designated exam centers across Uttar Pradesh. The examination centers include government and aided polytechnics as well as Rajkiya Inter Colleges and Rajkiya Balika Inter Colleges identified by the board.
Role of Center Superintendent and Observers
The board has directed that Center Superintendents and Permanent Observers be appointed at each exam center to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of examinations. They are required to report to their assigned centers before the exams begin and ensure that all arrangements are fully in place.
Key Instructions Issued by BTEUP
- All Center Superintendents and Observers must reach their designated centers on time and fulfill their responsibilities sincerely
- Nodal Principals have been asked to inform the Principals of Rajkiya Inter Colleges and Rajkiya Balika Inter Colleges in their district about this order
- Principals of government, aided, and private institutions whose staff members have been appointed as Permanent Observers must relieve them for exam duty at the concerned centers
